Cam switches and disconnect switches
Cam switches and disconnect switches of MERZ are reliable and used worldwide. All switches are switch-disconnectors according to IEC / EN 60947-3 (DIN VDE 0660 Teil 107) and allow safe switching and disconnecting. MERZ – switches are certificated to UL 508 and CSA 22.2 and as a result accepted to be used worldwide (more certificates on request).
The range of products contains switch-disconnectors with rated uninterrupted current of 10 - 630A. The switches are available depending on their purpose of use in a multiplicity of open or encapsulated series.
MERZ – switchgear are used in a wide range of panels, machinery and electrical equipments of all kind. The cam switches can be supplied as on-off-switches, main, change-over switches, motor-starter switches, control switches, step switches, reversing switches, Volt and Ammeter switches, code switches, heating-group or lighting switches, as well as a special switch for universal switching duties.
Switch-disconnectors of the series ML are manual operated switches with an switching angle of 90° and a fixed OFF and ON position. Auxiliary contacts for control functions are available. These switches are used as main switches / emergency-off switches, service switches, repair switches or as safety switches.
